Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Upon arrival Check in at hotel. Transfer to hotel (Normal check in time of hotel is 1400 hours)

Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel Early Morning Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath.Kathmandu Durbar Square - known as Kantipur, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess, who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence. Kasthamandap - the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty.Swayambunath - located approximately 4 km/2.5 miles, Buddhist stupa this is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four-sided base of the spire are the all-seeing eyes of Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.Patan City - 5 km/3 miles away from Kathmandu City. Patan also known as Lalitpur, is the city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. You will see the Durbar square, the Patan Durbar which houses a bronze collection, and the Krishna Temple built by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla.

Kathmandu to Nagarkot by surface (27 Kms/01 Hrs)
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a half-day sightseeing tour of Kirtipur, a charming historical town located just southwest of Kathmandu. Known for its rich Newari culture, narrow cobbled streets, and ancient temples, Kirtipur offers a serene yet culturally vibrant experience. Key highlights include the Bagh Bhairab Temple, dedicated to a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, and the Uma Maheshwar Temple, which provides panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. After exploring the town’s cultural gems and traditional lifestyle, you will proceed on a scenic drive toward Nagarkot, a popular hill station renowned for its breathtaking Himalayan views. En route, stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bhaktapur Durbar Square for a half-day sightseeing tour. This medieval city showcases beautifully preserved architecture, including the 55-Window Palace, Nyatapola Temple, Golden Gate, and intricately carved wooden structures. You’ll also have the chance to stroll through Pottery Square, where artisans still practice traditional pottery-making techniques. After this enriching cultural experience, continue your drive to Nagarkot, which takes approximately one and a half hours under normal road conditions. Back to Kathmandu

After soaking in the serene mountain views, enjoy a wholesome breakfast at the hotel. Following breakfast, check out and begin your drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, stop for a sightseeing tour of the Changu Narayan Temple, one of the oldest and most revered Hindu temples in Nepal. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is admired for its intricate wood and stone carvings, ancient inscriptions, and peaceful surroundings. Located atop a hill, it also offers beautiful views of the surrounding valleys and hills. Take your time to explore the temple complex and learn about its deep historical and religious significance. After the visit, continue your journey towards Kathmandu. Upon arrival in the capital, check in to your hotel and relax. You can spend the rest of the evening at leisure—exploring local markets, dining at a traditional Nepali restaurant, or simply unwinding at the hotel.

Kathmandu International Departure
